On Tuesday, November 3, participating voters will be electing their state and federal representatives in several positions as well as weighing in on two questions. On October 24, the Winchester School Board conducted a public forum to provide information on the ballot's second question that asks voters to choose whether or not to (1) impose a local property tax cap to limit the amount of funding used to operate the local school district, and (2) limit the SAU (superintendent services office) to 6% of the total school district budget. The forum yielded several questions from members of the community and the slides that were used to provide information about the question can be found by clicking here.
