FROM THE ART ROOM...

Dear Parents,
Welcome back to a new school year. I hope all
of you had a great summer, from talking to the children over the last few days
and listening to their stories it sounds like lots of adventures were had by
all.
Thank you to all parents for last year's
donations. This year we need scrap wood, plexiglass and wire and scrap metal
(thin and cuttable). So far those are the only things I am looking for, but I
will keep you posted.
The seventh graders that are starting their
7 week session of art will have a note sent home, we are looking for 1/2
gallon cardboard juice or milk containers for a casting project- if any one
wants to send in some of those we would be grateful for extras.
All the children will be starting their
projects in the next few weeks, if it doesn't come home it generally means I
have kept the work to hang up around the school----come see it when you
