5T News for the Month of May

Hello, my name is Miss Ballas and I am a student teacher from Keene State College. I have been working in your child’s classroom for the past six weeks. During this time we have been finishing up learning about the Revolutionary War, and we have been working on the human body. We have covered the digestive, skeletal, muscular, auditory, visual, circulatory, respiratory, and nervous systems. We have also taken time to learn about skin. The students have really seemed to be enjoying this science unit, and I have really enjoyed teaching it.

I would like to say that my final week in Mrs. Truesdell’s classroom is the week of May 5-9. It has been a great experience, and I thank the students for being so cooperative. It has been a wonderful way to end my semester.

We are planning a few field trips to end the year.

Just a Quick Note

Warm weather is here again,and with that a lot of students are riding their bikes. We would like to remind students that it is New Hampshire state law that they wear a helmet whenever they are on their bike.
