Third Grade Recorder Club

          Students in the third grade have the option to join the THIRD GRADE RECORDER CLUB.  Recorder club will meet every once a week for 30 minutes.  We have fun playing together, learning new notes and rhythms, and preparing for performances. 

          The recorder is a great “first instrument” for children.  Recorder club students will experience the joy of playing an instrument and develop their skills in reading, writing, and creating music, working together with a team, and building the confidence to perform for an audience.  

          Students will need to provide their own recorders, and to bring them to school every week.  If you do not have access to a recorder, you may purchase one through me for $3.00.  I will order the recorders and resell them to you at cost. 

          Recorder club forms will be going home with third grade students during the first few weeks of school.
